November 2007

(Michelle Woerner, from Aloha, OR. aka sf9erfan on Splitcoaststampers, is our featured artist this month)

"When I was asked by Heidi to be the first Featured Stamper of her new online store, I was super surprised and very honored.  As of this month, I have been stamping for exactly 1 year.  In my prior life (before kids), I never knew about stamping, or that there was an entire “world” around making cards.  I discovered Splitcoaststampers by accident, and found a great supportive community and I am thrilled to be a part of it!"

"I am a stay at home mom to 2 toddler boys, ages 2 and 3 ˝ and I discovered stamping as a way to have some “me” time and do something creative.  My boys keep me on my toes and being surrounded by cars, trucks and trains all day, it is great to have some pink frilly ribbon in my life!  I started out by thinking I could make my Christmas cards and save money!  Haahaa!  All of us $tamper$ know that hundreds of dollars later (dare I say thousands?), it is anything but $aving money.  But it’s so much fun, and I guess it’s cheaper than therapy."

"I am grateful to have met and married a truly patient and understanding man, Bill, 4 ˝ years ago at my best friend’s wedding.  He is very supportive of my ever-growing “stamping” habit and is my biggest fan.  I truly am blessed!"
