Grand Opening Contest
We thank everyone who participated in our design contest. It was a very hard decision to choose the winners. All of the cards & projects were great, and many of them were very time intensive. Our two winners are: Ann Lind and Keri Brown. They have won a $30 gift certificate to our store and a spot in our monthly Guest Artist Gallery. Keri will be featured in March, and Ann in April. Check back in February for a new design challenge!

Winner - Most Creative Project
Keri Brown~~Keri is the winner for "Most Creative Project". She made a card, matching chipboard post-it holder, and beaded pen! Keri told us this is her least favorite ribbon we carry, and we responded that if this is her least favorite, we'd love to see what she can do with ribbon she likes! Keri used our Lime & Blue Argyle ribbon. Congrats Keri!!
Kelly Little~~Elzybells are some of our favorite stamps, and this is a great layout. It's so simple and so fun, just a classic design! We especially loved the glittered embossed edge around the scalloped oval. Kelly used our White & Teal Argyle ribbon.
Robbie Rubala~~This layout showed very inventive use of our ribbon. The special touches really made this card stand out. The poinsettia is gold embossed and both layers are cut out, what a lot of work. Robbie used our Lime & Pink Argyle ribbon.
Lorien Clark~~This had to be the most fun-loving card we received. This little elephant just makes you want to smile! Lorien used our Light Pink Striped Grosgrain.
Michelle Woerner~~This card has a ton of dimension, which may not photograph well. The coffee cup and "whipped cream" are mounted on pop-dots, as is the small scalloped circle under the sentiment. Michelle used our Light Pink Striped Grosgrain.

Winner - Most Creative Use of Ribbon
Ann Lind~~This card was the winner for "Most Creative Use of Ribbon". We had to give Ann kudos for the creative use of this argyle ribbon in framing the layers of her card. It doesn't show up that well in the photograph, but the argyle ribbon is all glittery. Great job Ann, and congratulations!! Ann used our Ivory with Black & Red Argyle ribbon.
Silvia Mabie~~We really loved the look and layout of this card. The water is coated in Crystal Effects. The use of the grommet to thread the ribbon through is so creative! Sylvia used our Black Striped Grosgrain.
Marian Narodowiec~~The super sparkly centers of these flowers made this card fun! We really liked the proportions. Marian used our Celery with Red & Blue argyle ribbon.
Michelle Berrones~~This card employed a classic look and added a fun twist with the use of ribbon and designer paper. We loved the strip of ribbon across the bottom, that you can still see with the card open. Michelle used our Chocolate & Pink Argyle Ribbon.
Jodene Muri~~Jodene showed very creative use of ribbon, putting it on a photo frame. this frame must have been a fun project to complete! Jodene used our Blue with Pink & Blue Argyle ribbon.
